Shuler Studio fonts are digital lettering designs created for personalization, monograms, stationery, embroidery, and more. Many of our fonts are available in multiple formats so you can choose the version that works best for your project.
Choose your format based on how you plan to use the font. Print Fonts are installable fonts for typing in compatible programs, SVG Fonts are designed for use with compatible cutting machines and design software, and Embroidery Fonts are digitized specifically for machine embroidery.
While the lettering style may look the same, each format is created for a different type of project. Print Fonts function as installable fonts, SVG Fonts contain vector files for compatible design and cutting software, and Embroidery Fonts contain digitized stitch files for embroidery machines.
No. Print, SVG, and Embroidery versions are separate products and are purchased individually. This allows you to purchase only the format you need for your project.
Our Embroidery Fonts include multiple common machine embroidery file formats, including DST. Check the individual product page for the complete list of formats included and make sure your embroidery machine supports one of them before purchasing. If you are unsure of which format you need, we recommend trying DST as it is a universal format for embroidery machines.
Sizes vary by font. Each Embroidery Font product page lists the sizes included with your purchase. Be sure to review the available sizes and your machine's hoop requirements before purchasing.
Our Embroidery Fonts are available in several common machine embroidery file formats. Check which file format your machine requires and compare it with the formats listed on the font's product page. You’ll also want to make sure your hoop can accommodate the size you plan to stitch.
Some Shuler Studio fonts use uppercase and lowercase keys to give you different letter styles, variations, or design options. If you don't see the letter or style you're looking for, be sure to try both the uppercase and lowercase version of the letter.
Absolutely! Each format is purchased separately, so you can purchase another version of your font whenever you need it. For example, you can purchase the Print Font now and add the Embroidery or SVG version later.
