Introducing Jake & Jamal Rinvelt!

After Jake proposed to Jamal on the Solstice Steps of Lakewood Park in Cleveland, OH, Jamal wasted no time in purchasing a Shuler Monogram to set the tone for their stunning wedding day.

The invitation suite featured a 2-Letter Shuler Monogram nestled in our Thomaston Laurel. Their monogram was also etched on their champagne flutes for toasts at the reception.

Her Vision: Elegant & Timeless

The ceremony was held at St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, where Jamal's father is a priest. Jamal chose to have an open arch filled with Baby's Breath and Orchids on the pews - simple yet beautiful amid the ornate altar of the church.

In Jamal's words, "The ceremony was probably the most important part of the day for us as we both grew up in the church, and first met at a church retreat 14 years ago."

Since her father was officiating the ceremony, Jamal walked halfway down the aisle alone, and he met her in the middle to walk the rest of the way together.

Jamal's family is 100% Lebanese, and Jake's is 50%, so the ceremony was in both English and Arabic to honor their heritage.

The Reception

Their reception was held at Cleveland City Hall. Jamal fell in love with the venue at first sight, and describes it as being "beautiful on its own with the high ceilings, stunning marble pillars, and gold detailing."

Jamal drew her inspiration for colors and decor from what City Hall already had to offer, and incorporated champagne-colored linens, white and cream florals, and lots of gold accents, including the Antique Chic JJ and Thomaston Laurel. Their custom dance floor was a showstopper!

The seated dinner featured customized menus and place-cards adorned with their Shuler Studio Monogram

Jake & Jamal wanted good food, good drinks, and good music for their guests. Both English and Arabic music played at the reception so that Jake could show off his Lebanese dance moves. He even led the "Dabke" line (similar to a line dance) in the middle of their monogrammed dance floor.

Jake & Jamal ended their night with a fun group photo of their closest family and friends. It was a night to be treasured, and we are honored to have played a small part in such a special day.

Cheers to the Rinvelts!
